Wrestling is a competition between two individuals where contestants grapple with one another in an attempt to pin the opponent, accomplished by pinning both shoulders of the opponent to the mat for one to two seconds. Greco-Roman wrestling, which prohibits holding the opponent beneath their belt, and freestyle wrestling are the two Olympic forms of wrestling. The winner either carries out a pin on the opponent, or has the most points (as awarded by a judge) after two three-minute rounds.
