Water polo is a sport where two teams of seven players play in a body of water, usually a swimming pool, with a goal at either end. Players score goals by throwing a buoyant ball into the opposing team's goal, past their goalkeeper. All players must touch the ball with only one hand, except the goalkeepers. The ball can be moved by passing it to teammates or pushing it along the water while swimming. The winning team has the most goals after four quarters.
