Taekwondo is a competition between two individuals where contestants strike the opponent with their feet or fists. However, hand and foot strikes to the opponent's head are not allowed. There are three judges present who score the two competitors based on the number of strikes and the accuracy and power of the strikes. The winner of the competition has the most points after three ninety-second rounds. Alternatively, a competitor can win prior to the end of the match by knocking out their opponent.
