Speedway is a motorcycle racing sport where individuals compete to be the first to the finish line after four laps around an oval circuit made of dirt. Competitors use standardized motorcycles that have only one gear and which do not have brakes. How well competitors finish in a race gives them a certain amount of points. The winner of the Speedway Grand Prix has the most points after a series of races, comprised of five qualifying races, a semi-final, and a final race.
