Snooker is a sport played between two individuals on a cloth-covered table, sided by rails. Players use a wooden stick, called a cue, to strike a white ball so that it knocks another ball into one of six pockets on the table. There are 6 balls of various colors and point values and 15 red balls, each worth one point. Players must alternate which color balls they pocket, starting with a red ball. The winner has the most points after all balls are pocketed.
