Netball is a game played between two teams of seven players each on a court with a goal ring placed ten feet above the ground on either side. Points are scored by shooting a spherical, leather ball into the opponent's goal ring; the team with the most points after sixty minutes wins. Players get three seconds to pass or shoot the ball, and defending players must remain 35 inches away from the player they are guarding. Each player is assigned a specific position, limiting their movement on the court.
