NASCAR is an auto racing sport where individuals compete to be the first to the finish line after a set number of laps. Competitors drive on roads with stock cars, which must comply to a set of rules. How well competitors finish in a race gives them a certain amount of points. The winner of the main NASCAR race, the Sprint Cup, has the most points after a series of 36 races in various parts of the U.S.
