Football, or soccer, is a game played by eleven players on each team using a spherical ball. The goal of the game is to kick the ball past the opposing team's goalkeeper into the goal. The ball is moved around the field by players by dribbling the ball with the feet or passing it to other players; the use of hands to move the ball is not allowed except by the goalkeepers. Although individual skill is required, team strategy is also needed to get past the opposing team.
