Field hockey is a game played between two teams of eleven players on a grass field. Players attempt to score goals by using a stick with a curved blade at one end to hit a ball into the opposing team's goal past their goalkeeper. Players must use their sticks to control the ball and pass it to teammates; only the goalkeepers are allowed to touch the ball. The team with the most points after two halves of 35 minutes each wins.
