Canadian football is played by two teams of twelve players and involves moving an oval ball into the opposing team's endzone in order to score touchdowns worth six points each, similar to American football. Each team has three attempts, or downs, to move the ball at least ten yards up the field, which, if accomplished, results in three more downs. The ball is mainly moved by passing, and the defensive players must stop the other team by tackling the player with the ball, resulting in a physical and exciting game.
