Australian rules football is a full contact game played by two teams of eight players on a grass field. On either end are two goal posts and two smaller posts (behind posts) flanking the goal posts. Six points are awarded when the ball is kicked through the goal posts, and one point when kicked between a goal and behind post. The ball can be moved by carrying or bouncing, and can be passed by fisting or kicking; if a teammate catches a 15+ meter kick, he is awarded a free kick.
