Archery sports involve using a bow to shoot arrows at a target. Competitions are either indoor or outdoor; with indoor competitions, the target is 18 to 25 meters away, while outdoor competitions have the target 30 to 90 meters away. The competitions are divided into ends, with each archer allowed 3 or 6 arrows per end. Competitors gain points based on how close their arrows land to the bulls-eye, with the winning competitor having the most points over all of the ends.
